Department of Corrections Search
You may add this supplemental search to any county or statewide search. We can search one state DOC, or we can search multiple states records to see if your subject has been confined, or under a DOC supervision. Coverage and time frame varies from state to state.
Sex Crimes / Sex Offender Search
With these types of crimes on the rise, this search can be very valuable. We can tell you if your subject/applicant has ever been registered as a sex offender, something you must know before you hire them. This search is imperative for nannies, daycares, schools, or any business where children are present.
Federal Criminal Search
Federal crimes are not housed at the county or state level, therefore it's important to check at this level if you want to uncover crimes at the highest level. We have the ability to search all district courts at once, or by state, or a selection of states. It is possible for someone to have Federal felony charges, and checked at the county or state level the applicant would come back as "clear,” so including this search ensures the most thorough screening.
Civil Records Search
Civil records will indicate if your applicant has ever been sued in small claims for monies owed, filed bankruptcy, or been evicted from the home or apartment they were renting. This search will often times yield any tax liens they have against them, or any other civil type activity. This is a good search to include for upper management or anyone in your company that might be exposed to money or confidential/sensitive information.
National Criminal File Search
This supplemental search may uncover criminal activity of your subject in areas of the country outside of their residence.that might not be searched initially. This is a compilation of records that could reveal traffic, misdemeanor, or felony records. This search is not hands-on, but does include 83 million records of persons across the country. This search should never be used by itself, but is a valuable supplemental search to the employment screening you choose. Any records found using this search are subject to further verification.
Social Security Verification
We will verify that the SSN provided by the applicant does belong to them. This process, can also uncover alias names they may have but didn't provide to you, and in today's society of identity theft (the fastest growing crime in the USA), this tool will eliminate that possibility. This is a standard for our full service background checks and employment screenings.
Address Verification
This is an excellent tool to utilize when determining what county or area to check for criminal or civil records. It is important to search for records in each county where the applicant has lived. If a subject fails to disclose all address locations, criminal activity may be missed in those areas.
Education and Employment Verification
Use this search to verify any degree an applicant has listed, or to ensure that previous employment listed is accurate. We can do both for you as a standard, or for select applicants.
